IS THE ACADEMY RIGHT FOR MY BUSINESS?

You will need a registered operating businesses to submit a compliant and successful tender, or even to register on a supplier platform. 

It is good to be aware of the requirements of tendering before you commit to bidding and the Small Business Bidding Academy program.

When applying for tenders, you will need to supply information about your business, including systems, people and processes.

This will vary from tender to tender, but standard inclusions are insurances, licences, key people, past project evidence, your methodology, a program, safety, environment, modern slavery, diversity and inclusion and pricing.

IS THE ACADEMY RIGHT FOR ME?

Our Small Business Bidding Academy is designed for small business owners and members of their teams who will commit to a program to develop their skills and knowledge in tendering.

It is up to you to complete all components of the Academy program. We will send you a reminder from time to time if you have been absent from the program.

There will be requirements outside of what you will learn in our training program to further develop your skills.

These could include:

  • Writing a capability statement
  • Getting documentation together
  • Setting up tendering systems and processes
  • Sourcing and writing tender submissions. 

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the  Academy program?

You will have access to the program for 12 months from the date of enrolment. This is designed to encourage participants to commit to the timeframe as part of their professional development. 

This means that you have 12 months to complete all components of the program.

Our team is very understanding. If for some reason you can't complete all components within the 12 months due to extenuating circumstances, we will be happy to discuss a postponement.

If you wish to complete the program in under 12 months, we recommend taking the upfront payment method to ensure you have access to all inclusions from the beginning.

How do I join the Academy?
Submit the form on this page to receive an application link and more information on the course inclusions.

Once you have enrolled, you will receive confirmation of enrolment and access to our learning management system.

How does the Academy  payment work?

As part of your Academy place, you agree to pay either an upfront fee, or 12 separate monthly payments. 

Upfront fee: you will pay a single fee at the time of the enrolment. You will gain access to all the Academy inclusions from the time of enrolment.

Monthly payments: you will pay the first monthly instalment on enrolment and agree to have the additional 11 payments taken from your nominated credit card each month.

With the monthly payment plan, the inclusions are released over the first six months. You will receive access to the Tender Starter Program on enrolment. 

At any time you can cancel your enrolment with 14 business days notice. Your access to all inclusions will be cancelled 14 business days thereafter this notice is received.
