COURSE 1 OUTLINE
Learn how to develop and format a clear, professional and easy to read proposal by applying key formatting and presentation elements.
Participants will be asked to develop their own template response following instructions from the trainer.
Module 1:
Template design and development, including:
- Cover page design
- Table of contents
- Headings and sub-headings with styles
- Tables, images and graphics.
Module 2:
- Inserting and formatting text
- Insert captions and figures
- Document finalisation.
COURSE 2 OUTLINE
This workshop will provide an outline of the key content to include when responding to common tender questions.
Participants will be asked to develop a bullet point framework response for each common question.
Module 1:
Review common tender questions and generate an overview of the core content inclusions.
Common questions will cover:
- Experience, capability and capacity
- Methodology
- Safety
Module 2:
- Environment
- Social procurement
- Modern slavery.
COURSE 3 OUTLINE
Learn how to develop a framework for your executive summaries with an overview of key content to include.
Participants will develop a template for responding to executive summaries, which will also be applicable to cover letters.
Module 1:
- Understand the key sections of an executive summary
- Set up your executive template with key headings and sub-headings.
Module 2:
- Develop a bullet point framework for each section.
- Learn how to apply client-focused benefits to your content.

Meet the trainer

Kate Burrows is the founder and Managing Director of the Tender Training College. She has more than 20 years' of experience across the bidding lifecycle.
Kate has supported some of Australia’s largest companies in the finance, defence, infrastructure, professional services, engineering, not-for-profit and transport sectors to win $30 billion in new business.
